Tunisia Massacre and SSM

Christian Concern compares Tunisia massacre to same-sex marriage
Nick Duffy 13th July 2015, 12:18 PM

A guest column carried by religious pressure group Christian Concern compares same-sex marriage to the massacre of British tourists in Tunisia.
The group, which works to oppose UK equality laws but failed to stop the passage of same-sex marriage, posted a guest article from “cultural apologist and church leader” Dr Joe Boot.
The column says there are many reason for Christians to ‘despair’ – citing the murder of innocent Christians in Nigeria, the massacre of 38 people in Tunisia, and the US Supreme Court bringing same-sex marriage to all 50 states.
It says: “Given the events of recent days, with Boko Haram slitting the throats of Christians in Nigeria, Islamic jihadists murdering dozens of Britons as they sat with their children by the sea in Tunisia, and as the Humpty Dumpty logic of the US Supreme Court led to a decision legalising same-sex ‘marriage’ in America – an act far more destructive of truth and liberty than a terrorist bomb – it would be easy to be utterly despondent as a Christian.
“However, the truth of the gospel means we must not – indeed, cannot – give in to fear, doubt or despair.”
38 people were murdered by a gunman in Tunisia, including 30 British holidaymakers.
Dr Boot claims that the Tunisian murders were driven by the fundamental beliefs of Islam, labelling the Prophet Mohammed a “violent and bloodthirsty warlord”, before drawing a direct comparison to the Supreme Court ruling.
He claims that “the US Supreme Court’s decision expresses, in a different way, a similar usurpation of sovereignty”, and accuses the justices of “waging [a] ‘legal’ war against Christ” in a similar way to radical Islamists.
The column continues: “In both Islamic militancy and activist Western courts, we are witnessing war on the living God by means and application of illegitimate law and the usurpation of sovereignty.”
Andrea Williams of Christian Concern is regularly given a platform to make media appearances, despite her group’s increasingly anti-gay stance.
The UK Independence Part’s ‘Christian’ manifesto was released earlier this year on a Christian Concern-run website – but was not circulated it via the official UKIP website or to the press.

‘Biblically Correct’ Independent Candidate Susan-Anne White Is Back With More Anti-Gay Rantings

Posted: 30/04/2015 12:55 BST
An Independent candidate standing for election in Northern Ireland has enhanced her “biblically correct” reputation by claiming to have “proof” that gay people are 40 times more likely to abuse children.

Devout Christian Susan-Anne White is one of nine candidates standing in West Tyrone on 7 May.

On Tuesday she appeared at an election debate in Omagh where she made the claims as part of her defence of Democratic Unionist Jim Wells who last week made comments linking gay marriage and child abuse.

Susan-Anne White’s message caused one candidate to place his head in his hands

Wells has since apologised and resigned as Health Minister.

White, whose manifesto includes pledges to close abortion clinics and make adultery a punishable offence, told the audience on Tuesday: “In the main, what Jim Wells said was correct and I can prove it.

“Are you interested in the truth? Is anybody interested in the truth?”

Ignoring boos and jeers, White continued, stating: “Studies have shown that homosexuals are 40 times more likely than the general populace to abuse children.”

(At this point the candidate to White’s right places his head in his hands in apparent disbelief.)

White continues, citing a handful of cases where gay people were convicted of child abuse in the United States and Britain. She is cut short by the chair who cites fears of libeling those she has named. White continues, urging the audience to Google them.

At one point, the chair of the debate asks White to cheers and applause: “Did you Google heterosexual abuse?”

White responds: “The question we are discussing at the moment is not about heterosexual abuse.

“Heterosexuals can abuse children. Because the heart of man is depraved. Of course heterosexuals can and have abused children, but the subject we are discussing here are the comments made by Jim Wells. Keep on topic!”

White had earlier took a shot at the Conservative candidate standing for the same seat.

Attacking the party’s support for gay marriage, she said: “Gay marriage is a contradiction in terms. It is not normal or natural. The Bible speaks of men acting against nature and burning in their lust one for another.”

“It’s a shame that Claire-Louise (Leyland’s) party legalised sodomite marriage.

“That is something she should hang her head in shame about. She should not be proud about that.”

In an interview earlier this month, White told the Belfast Telegraph: “I don’t consider myself extreme – not at all.

“It is society that has moved. Not so far in the past, most people would have shared my views.

“My views only seem extreme because society has moved away from God’s principles.”

Here’s a re-cap of White’s manifesto:

‘Biblically correct NOT politically correct’

I pledge to:
• Close Marie Stopes Abortion clinic
• Oppose the extension of the 1967 Abortion Act to Northern Ireland
• Remove state-sponsored amoral sex education from schools
• Restore corporal punishment to schools
• Uphold parental rights to discipline children, including the right to smack
• Raise the age of consent to 18
• Make it an offense for doctors to give contraceptives to underage children
• Oppose the LGBT agenda, while showing compassion to those who struggle with gender confusion
• Oppose the redefinition of marriage
• Ban gay pride parades and recriminative homosexuality
• Stop the state funding of LGBT organisations
• Make adultery a punishable offense
• Abolish the Equality Commission NI and the Human Rights Commissions NI and give all the money they receive to the NHS.
• Oppose feminism and restore dignity to the stay at home mother
• Restore the concept of a family wage with the father as the breadwinner
• Oppose the legalisation of dangerous drugs
• Protest the NHS and increase funding by abolishing unnecessary and money wasting bureaucrats and quangos
• Withdraw from money wasting and decadent Europe
• Oppose the global warming fanatics and their pseudo-science
• Imprison those found guilty of animal cruelty including those involved in dog fights
• Install CCTV in all abattoirs
• Ban halal slaughter
• Oppose the Islamisation of British culture- no more mosques and no more extensions
• Restore capital punishment for murder, including terrorist murder

Satan loves baking cakes!!

from the “Gayly Grind”

An Oregon judge recommended that Christian bakers Aaron and Melissa Klein be fined $135,000 for discrimination on Friday, after the owners of Sweet Cakes by Melissa refused to bake a wedding cake for a same-sex couple.

The Kleins shared a link to a GoFundMe campaign on their Facebook page yesterday, raising nearly $20,000 in just four hours.

The fundraiser quickly reached $109,000 before GoFundMe canceled it. GoFundMe issued a statement saying they do not allow money to be raised on their site for people who have been found to be in violation of the law.

“After careful review by our team, we have found the ‘Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa’ campaign to be in violation of our Terms and Conditions,” GoFundMe said in a statement.

“The money raised thus far will still be made available for withdrawal. While a different campaign was recently permitted for a pizzeria in Indiana, no laws were violated and the campaign remained live. However, the subjects of the ‘Support Sweet Cakes By Melissa’ campaign have been formally charged by local authorities and found to be in violation of Oregon state law concerning discriminatory acts. Accordingly, the campaign has been disabled.”

The Kleins took to their Facebook page to blame Satan for GoFundMe’s decision to cancel their fundraiser.

“Evidently Go fund me has shut down our Go fund me page and will not let us raise any money. Satan’s really at work but I know our God has a plan and wins in the end!”

Facebook user Teresa Mitchell then left this brilliant reply to the anti-gay bakers message: “Wait…so it was ok for you to refuse service to someone because you didn’t agree with how they wanted to use your product, but it’s no ok for GoFundMe to do the EXACT same thing?“

Another Faceboook user suggested that people instead share their donations to charities who are trying to make this world a better place. “If you are donating, donate to a worthy cause,” wrote Krissy. “There are millions around the world (including here in the US) without food, water, electricity or hope…There was a devastating earthquake in Nepal yesterday. Donate to the Red Cross. Donate to your local food pantry. Donate where you can create a future worthy of hope. Help your fellow neighbors, don’t rally against them. You are not demonstrating the love and forgiveness of God by wasting money helping people who did not open their arms to all of God’s children. Make a better future for our wold, don’t continue with hate.“

The Halls are Alive with the the Sound of….. eh?!!!

As Ireland’s referendum on same-sex marriage approaches, opponents to the potential change have taken to the streets to hand out anti-gay leaflets.

This leaflet was handed out in Dublin and poses the important question: “Should children be exposed to sounds of sodomy?”
“As the date of the referendum to redefine the Irish Family draws ever closer it is time for christians of conscience to examine the dire consequences for the innocent if homosexuals are given access to the scarament [sic] of marriage.
“Marriage is between one man and one woman. Our legislators are without hte Light of Our Lord. At this very moment the liberal agenda conspires to undermine God’s Word and is drafting law to allow homosexuals to adopt children. Should children be exposed to this beastly obsession with unholy acts? Should the sounds of sodomy echo in the halls of a Christian home?
“In the coming weeks and months lobby your TD. Tell them children should not be exposed to unholy homosexual unions. STOP the adoption legislation. Contacat your TD now.”

Conservative ‘Christian’ Pastor Openly Calls For Executing All Gay People By Christmas Day (VIDEO)
It sounds like a sermon that would be delivered in Uganda, but it’s actually from the mouth of an American pastor in Arizona.

Conservative “Christian” Pastor Steven Anderson openly called for executing every gay person in America during a Sunday Sermon at his church in Tempe, Arizona. He claimed from the pulpit that gays need to be put to death in the name of God by Christams Day in an effort to wipe out AIDS, even though AIDS is not a virus exclusive to the LGBT community. Anderson opined:

Turn to Leviticus 20:13, because I actually discovered the cure for AIDS. If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them. And that, my friend, is the cure for AIDS. It was right there in the Bible all along — and they’re out spending billions of dollars in research and testing. It’s curable — right there. Because if you executed the homos like God recommends, you wouldn’t have all this AIDS running rampant.

In addition, Anderson went on a hateful tirade about how gay people will never to allowed to step foot inside his church.

“No homos will ever be allowed in this church as long as I am pastor here,” Anderson declared. “Never! Say ‘You’re crazy.’ No, you’re crazy if you think that there’s something wrong with my ‘no homo’ policy.”

Here’s the video via YouTube.

Slowly but surely, conservatives are becoming more extreme in their anti-gay views. So much so, that some are now willing to endorse genocide in the name of God in a desperate bid to force their agenda of hate upon the nation. Despite the fact that the Constitution is the law of the land, conservative “Christians” like Anderson want to replace that document with the Bible.

The mass extermination of an entire group people is something the Nazis would be applauding. According to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, conservatives are acting just like the Nazis did in Germany, from claims that homosexuality is a sign of the decay of the nation, to claiming that it’s a disease that can be “cured,” to calling for killing gay people.

Many in Germany regarded the Weimar Republic’s toleration of homosexuals as a sign of Germany’s decadence. The Nazis posed as moral crusaders who wanted to stamp out the “vice” of homosexuality from Germany…

Because some Nazis believed homosexuality was a sickness that could be cured, they designed policies to “cure” homosexuals of their “disease” through humiliation and hard work.

Thousands of gay people died in concentration camps under Nazi rule.

It sounds like Anderson is one of those who are posing as a “moral crusader” to push their hateful anti-gay agenda. And yet, conservatives have the nerve to compare liberals to the Nazis. If we continue to stand by and allow conservatives to take power in the United States, we may discover to our horror that similar Nazi anti-gay policies have been established under the cloak of religion.

Third Vatican Council

Pope Francis Condemns Racism And Declares That “All Religions Are True” At Historic Third Vatican Council
December 5, 2013 · by Diversity Chronicle

For the last six months, Catholic cardinals, bishops and theologians have been deliberating in Vatican City, discussing the future of the church and redefining long-held Catholic doctrines and dogmas. The Third Vatican Council, is undoubtedly the largest and most important since the Second Vatican Council was concluded in 1962. Pope Francis convened the new council to “finally finish the work of the Second Vatican Council.” While some traditionalists and conservative reactionaries on the far right have decried these efforts, they have delighted progressives around the world.

The Third Vatican Council concluded today with Pope Francis announcing that Catholicism is now a “modern and reasonable religion, which has undergone evolutionary changes. The time has come to abandon all intolerance. We must recognize that religious truth evolves and changes. Truth is not absolute or set in stone. Even atheists acknowledge the divine. Through acts of love and charity the atheist acknowledges God as well, and redeems his own soul, becoming an active participant in the redemption of humanity.”

“Through humility, soul searching, and prayerful contemplation we have gained a new understanding of certain dogmas. The church no longer believes in a literal hell where people suffer. This doctrine is incompatible with the infinite love of God. God is not a judge but a friend and a lover of humanity. God seeks not to condemn but only to embrace. Like the fable of Adam and Eve, we see hell as a literary device. Hell is merely a metaphor for the isolated soul, which like all souls ultimately will be united in love with God” Pope Francis declared.

In a speech that shocked many, the Pope claimed “All religions are true, because they are true in the hearts of all those who believe in them. What other kind of truth is there? In the past, the church has been harsh on those it deemed morally wrong or sinful. Today, we no longer judge. Like a loving father, we never condemn our children. Our church is big enough for heterosexuals and homosexuals, for the pro-life and the pro-choice! For conservatives and liberals, even communists are welcome and have joined us. We all love and worship the same God.”

One statement in the Pope’s speech has sent traditionalists into a fit of confusion and hysteria. “God is changing and evolving as we are, For God lives in us and in our hearts. When we spread love and kindness in the world, we touch our own divinity and recognize it. The Bible is a beautiful holy book, but like all great and ancient works, some passages are outdated. Some even call for intolerance or judgement. The time has come to see these verses as later interpolations, contrary to the message of love and truth, which otherwise radiates through scripture. In accordance with our new understanding, we will begin to ordain women as cardinals, bishops and priests. In the future, it is my hope that we will have a woman pope one day. Let no door be closed to women that is open to men!”

In addition to the Pope’s sweeping calls for tolerance and a new progressive understanding of Catholicism, he condemned racism, raising his voice and pounding the podium in front of him. Pope Francis spent over an hour castigating anti-immigrant politicians, parties and individuals. Wagging his finger sternly with righteous indignation, the Pope shouted “Racism today is the ultimate evil in the world. When Italians, Spanish or French turn back the boats of African migrants seeking a better life, are they not like the inn keeper who told Mary and Joseph that there was no room for them and the infant Christ? These migrants are children of God and we are commanded to love them!”

His voice loudly echoing through St. Peter’s basilica, the Pope stated “those who would dare to turn immigrants away, be they legal or undocumented, turn their backs on Christ himself! A racist is not a true Christian. A racist casts aside his humanity to become a beast, a demon! He is the embodiment and personification of evil, a Satan!”

To a chorus of thunderous applause, Pope Francis stated “because Muslims, Hindus and African Animists are also made in the very likeness and image of God, to hate them is to hate God! To reject them to is to reject God and the Gospel of Christ. Whether we worship at a church, a synagogue, a mosque or a mandir, it does not matter. Whether we call God, Jesus, Adonai, Allah or Krishna, we all worship the same God of love. This truth is self-evident to all who have love and humility in their hearts!”

In a announcement that shocked many people, Pope Francis warned that “those who seek to deny a home to the migrant, to the African and the Muslim, risk their membership in the church. We will consider excommunication for those whose souls willingly dwell in the darkness and evil of intolerance and racism. Satan himself is a metaphor or a personification, for the collective evils of mankind. Today, these evils manifest foremost as racism, intolerance, religious persecution and bigotries of all kinds.”

A couple of prominent Catholic cardinals have responded to Pope Francis’ declarations by leaving the church. Cardinal Arinze of Nigeria asked, “what do we stand for if we declare that truth is relative? On the contrary, truth exists independently of our personal feelings. All of this talk of love and tolerance is hollow if we have no identity of our own, if we stand for nothing. I charge that Francis has become a heretic, and that he is not a valid Pope. Indeed, Francis is no longer even a Catholic. The seat of Saint Peter is vacant. I am now a Sedevacantist. I should have become one long ago. The Vatican has embraced ecumenism in the past, but worse than that, it has now embraced moral relativism on abortion and homosexuality. At the same time it is embracing moral absolutism in favour of illegal immigration and cultural genocide against Europe.”

In his most controversial statement, Cardinal Arinze said “Islam has overrun my own country, and now it threatens to overrun Europe. Some parts of Nigeria now live under Islamic Sharia law. Catholics there are no longer free to practice their faith publicly. Francis is a fool if he thinks that his liberal immigration policy will end well. He has betrayed western civilization. Vatican City will one day become a giant mosque if things continue in Europe along their present course. Those in the West who ignore this truth, do so at their own peril.”

In an angry and vitriolic rant revealing deep self-hating tendencies, the African Cardinal Arinze stated “There is nothing wrong with Europeans who want to protect their borders. The problem is that there is not enough border control and the immigration policies are far too lenient in Europe. Is it racist to desire to preserve one’s own home? Why is it racist to want to preserve your own culture and a future for your people and your children? Have white people gone stupid today?”

This much is clear, the Catholic Church has made a decision to rejoin humanity and to reject intolerance and extremism. The church has lost a few narrow-minded bigots, with reports of some small parishes and a few cardinals and bishops defecting, but Pope Francis has gained the friendship of the world. Pope Francis deserves praise for taking a humane stand in defence of human rights and against bigotry.
