Don’t Lose Your Head 2

John’s followers took his head away and held a wake.   One of them spilled some wine on him and, to their amazement, he grew a torso.  They poured wine into his mouth and, behold, arms shot out from his body.  More drink – and the Baptizer grew legs.  By this time, unaccustomed to the alcohol, he staggered across the room and fell to his death from an open window.  One of his disciples remarked, “We really should have quit when he was ahead”
